About the Charity
The COVID-19 pandemic has hit the child care industry hard, and many providers fear possible permanent closure. In our effort to help struggling daycare centers, we want to help vital providers in our community. On May 25, 2020, Heaven Sent Child Care is celebrating 15 years in business, and we want to help daycare providers in need.
On May 25th, we are hosting a "Virtual Daycare Charity" from 2 PM - 4 PM to raise money and help support our local child care centers. This live virtual dance party will feature DJ Andri and over $1000 in giveaways, including a $500 gift card. Children and families depend on child care services, so we want to help bridge the gap and minimize financial stress during this challenging time.
Who Benefits
If you are a licensed daycare provider located in Metro Richmond, you can qualify to receive a grant from the Heaven Sent Foundation. Getting considered for an award is simple. Daycare providers require a parent/family nomination.
How to Give
Everyone can participate in this live virtual dance party and help keep our local daycares open and our teachers employed! Every dollar counts towards helping support a center in need.
We will live stream via our Facebook and Instagram pages @hsccacademy. Viewers have multiple ways to give. Viewers can buy Facebook stars, and for every star we receive, Facebook will pay $0.01. We are asking all of our viewers to donate a minimum of $1.
We will also accept donations via Cash App, Paypal, or mailed to 4897 Finlay Street, Richmond, VA 23231 payable to Heaven Sent Foundation. Anyone giving over $25 will receive an entry in our event drawing for a chance to win a $500 gift card. We also need viewers to share our live charity event with others and encourage them to donate because the more we raise, the more daycare providers we can support.
We will announce our recipients on June 1, 2020.
