OUR CORONAVIRUS RESPONSE
The safety of your children while in our care, as well as our staff, are our number one priority. At Heaven Sent Child Care, the well-being of our family and staff has and remains to be the core of our mission and policies. We continue our commitment to providing the best in safety features and procedures, and we will continue to lead the way by implementing increased safety measures within our center.
We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic and continue to follow the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, World Health Organization, Public Health Departments, childcare licensing, and state/local officials.
To receive evolving information regarding our plan, to address the safety needs of our enrolled families, we encourage you to login/set-up a parent corner account today.
If you are an essential worker in need of child care services during this challenging time, please feel free to review a few of our safety measures below.
Thank you for your continued support, and it is a privilege and honor to serve you and your families.
Here's what we are doing:
We encourage your staff and parents to protect their personal health.
We have posted the signs and symptoms of COVID-19: fever, cough, shortness of breath in a visible location in the center as well as placed the downloadable documents in the parent corner.
The Director of Heaven Sent Child Care or a designated staff person takes the temperature of staff upon arrival as well as enrolled children upon entry of the center. We conduct our screening questions to exclude sick or exposed children and staff.
We exclude all staff and children who exhibit cold-like symptoms. In addition, if anyone in the household that shows cold-like or fever symptoms staff and children are not permitted in the center.
- We require all staff and clients to disinfect their hands with center-provided alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol before and after clocking into our POS system.
We require parents to drop-off their children in our office, and parents cannot enter the center building to decrease exposure to children and staff.
We have added additional deep cleaning days to our existing weekly cleaning schedule from our professional cleaning company to sanitize the center.
We have children and staff practicing social distancing and have each classroom at a capacity of 10 people (The classroom group size includes children and personnel.).
We frequently disinfect and clean high touch surfaces such as tables, doorknobs, light switches, countertops, handles, desks, phones, keyboards, toilets, faucets, sinks, etc. throughout the day.
We require children and staff to wash their hands frequently throughout the day.
We do not allow outdoor shoes in the building. We provide children and staff to wear their designated crocs or slippers while in the center.
We have canceled all outside center activities.

We Are Here for Essential Workers
Five Star Rating
"When the state started administering guidelines for child care facilities I became anxious at the thought of Heaven Sent having to temporarily shutdown due to COVID-19. I am an essential worker and I am required to go to work each day. Ms. Cindy has done an amazing job at keeping us parents informed by text and email of precautions that Heaven Sent has put into place to keep our little ones safe. My husband and I feel very confident in sending our daughter to Heaven Sent each day because of the necessary precautions that were put into place such as checking each child’s temperature upon coming into the building, no shoes past the main office and the limits placed on visitors in the back. It’s great to see each staff member going the extra mile to ensure that these precautions are being followed daily. I commend the staff at Heaven Sent on their amazing teamwork during this pandemic. I am truly blessed to have found such a great place to care for my child! " ~ Mrs. Mcray
