If I could change the world...

If there were one thing I could change in the world, I would change the way people view or judge Autism! Work to view Autism as a different ability rather than a disability. Look past what you may see as limitations and see the gifts Autism has given some people! It may be true that some with Autism are not good at eye contact or conversation, but have you noticed that most can’t lie, cheat at games, tattle on classmates, or pass judgment on other people? Also, there needs to be a lot more emphasis on what a child with Autism can do instead of what they can’t do. If they can’t learn the way we teach, then we need to show the way they learn!
