Holidays can be a hard time for many of us when we think about the mothers and grandmothers and pillars of the family that we have lost. For me, the two matriarchs of my family left just too soon, and it's not a day that goes by that I yearn to have grandmas baked macaroni and cheese and homemade banana pudding. Even though they are gone, the lessons of cooking are still with us. Today, I want to share a favorite recipe of my grandmas that was passed down to my mother, which she passed down to me, and now I will pass it down to you. Mama Jeans Baked Turkey Wings
Ingredients needed
2 – 3 packs of whole turkey wings split
Garlic Powder
Lawry’s Seasoning Salt
Black pepper
Onion Powder
Dry parsley leaves
1 Onion
2 tablespoons of Mustard
Directions
Pre-heat oven to 275*
Place Turkey wings on platter and season on both sides with Garlic powder, Lawry seasoning salt, Black pepper, Onion powder, and Dry Parsley. After seasoning, mix wings around on platter to ensure wings are coated evenly with seasoning. Take Mustard and rub into the Turkey wings. After seasoning, place the wings inside of a deep-dish baking pan and fill the pan with water until wings are covered. Spread the cut onion over the top, sprinkle some seasoning salt and parsley on top then cover with aluminum foil and bake for 4-6hrs
